Rather thean using a precise definition of life, biologists look for several basic signs of life. Tru or False?

True; there really isn't a good definition for life. But all organisms, that we know of, produce chemical reactions that do not occur naturally. So if we were to find a molicule of, lets say, glucose (simple sugar) then we would know that life of some sort (most likely a photosyntedic microbe) made that molicule of glucose because glucose cannot just form on it's own.

True. Life occurs in many different stages across the kingdoms, including states of dormancy that would otherwise be considered ';nonliving'; by more precise definitions.
