I believe that god sends many prophets to us. but most wont listen. I think a false prophet is someone who claims to be gods messenger, or says they are an equal to god, and then ask you to worship them. and give them all your money, and leave your family.
I think a true prophet is someone who gives god all the credit, and helps to make you more spiritual, and see the truth of god, and give you knowledge of the other side, and of what we are here for.

A false prophet would be anyone claiming to have knowledge of future, you, God, tomorrow, the end of days etc... It is a very bad thing to claim to be the voice of God as you can see above.

A prophet speaks the Word of God. However, such word needs to be paired with prophecy to prove that he is a true prophet. A prophecy that does not come to pass make him a false prophet.

I believe that a false prophet is anyone who claims to be delivering God's word, but instead they lead people astray - whether they even realize it or not. They do not have to ask their followers to ';worship'; them, but I think their hearts are all about power and money rather than being on the Lord's errand.
A false prophet is someone distorting the word of God and Jesus Christ and ministering falsely.

A religon or a political party becomes false, when they teach a false doctrine. Anything that causes harm to society is bad. If a religion teaches to fight for its rights or for its beliefs, it is wrong. Religions should be like rays of light, to lead people from darkness to light. Soon, though, an amazing event will take place. “The ten horns that you saw, and the wild beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her devastated and naked, and will eat up her fleshy parts and will completely burn her with fire.” (Revelation 17:16) In a sudden, shocking move, the world’s political powers will turn on false religion and completely destroy her! A religon or a political party becomes false, when they teach a false doctrine. Anything that causes harm to society is bad. If a religion teaches to fight for its rights or for its beliefs, it is wrong. Religions should be like rays of light, to lead people from darkness to light. When it is otherwise, it becomes a false religion.
By my religion and what I believe, the only false religion i one tht encourages you to hur yourself or others, one that breaks laws or encourages you to break laws, one that takes your money or house or stuff, or one that claims to be the one true and right way to god and all others are damned.
So basically any positive religoin that gets you in touch with the divinity and is non-dogmatic

The majority of the world believe the heaven and hell teaching as one repeats the other and none really innvestigate the 397 year old KJV Bible that is an excepted translation 97 years and now the world has many translations to examine, just because people say hell means more than the common grave, Acts 2:27-35; does not make it so, and just because the majority has certain days [ holidays ], or practices, does not make that right, Rom.14:5-9; the world is stuck in a rut they call religion. A false religion to me is one that tells you that you don't have to live the way Jesus expects you to live %26amp; still be able to make it to heaven. It's one that tells you it's okay to do things that you know in your heart are sins. I don't believe that you can live your life any less than the way Jesus Christ has intended you to live it.

In a stroke of perfect justice, he will use her political paramours as his instrument of execution.
What must you do if you do not want to share the fate of false religion? “Get out of her, my people,” urges God’s messenger. (Revelation 18:4) Indeed, now is the time to flee from false religion! The problem with using a dictionary to 'prove' a point is that dictionaries are not a guide to how you should use a word or an absolute meaning of a word. They are all simply lists of the common usage of words. Try a different dictionary or wait a couple of years and your proof is gone.

True; there really isn't a good definition for life. But all organisms, that we know of, produce chemical reactions that do not occur naturally. So if we were to find a molicule of, lets say, glucose (simple sugar) then we would know that life of some sort (most likely a photosyntedic microbe) made that molicule of glucose because glucose cannot just form on it's own.

Not being a Jehovah's Witness myself, I would think that they would see any of those that have defined the denominations that now exist, as false prophets, while somehow retaining their own CT Russell as having the truth. I get the feeling that people can twist the Bible around to just about anything that they want, and if they know the Greek better than we do, they can say anything they want and we have to believe them because they are the ones defining it.
This gives them an advantage over the Christian that does not know Greek and cannot argue successfully with them without having a pastor present or at least someone who has been through seminary and has taken Greek classes so that they can refute them. But they also bring up plenty of logical fallacies that the average person does not recognize. Not being a Jehovah's Witness myself, I would think that they would see any of those that have defined the denominations that now exist, as false prophets, while somehow retaining their own CT Russell as having the truth. I get the feeling that people can twist the Bible around to just about anything that they want, and if they know the Greek better than we do, they can say anything they want and we have to believe them because they are the ones defining it.
This gives them an advantage over the Christian that does not know Greek and cannot argue successfully with them without having a pastor present or at least someone who has been through seminary and has taken Greek classes so that they can refute them. But they also bring up plenty of logical fallacies that the average person does not recognize. Well supernatural means 'more than natural' but in effect it means less than because nature describes what the universe is, if there were something, more 'beyond' that, it would have to be incorporated in to nature at some point.
Also the word 'god' like the word 'monster' describe things that don't exist. They describe one-way relationships. If I say he is a monster, or he is a god, you know how I feel about that person. How could they be either of those things in isolation? They couldn't.

There's no way to win the battle. If an atheist reverses the definition and says he believes in no gods, then the believer will accuse him of ';believing'; in something. And if an agnostic isn't ';non-commital';, he's ';confused about God';. Believers will twist definitions to fit their preconceptions because the alternative is too terrifying to contemplate. I don't worry about it too much. Fighting delusion is an unrewarding task.
