Define false pretense in the most easy way you possibly can. My friend is an idiot and doesnt even understand the definition on dictionary.com, so try to break this down a little for her. lol =)'The definition of false pretense..?

Not sure who you are calling a Nerd as though that were funny. I don't know how else to explain it to someone who obviously refuses to understand the concept. It is NOT that flippin hard. False pretense is when you present something or a situation as one way and it is actually another.





For example, I tell you to come over to my house for a friendly barbeque and really I'm just trying to get you here so I can try to convince you to buy my new product I am trying to market.
here's an example---If you buy a home under false pretense, it means you misrepresented your income to the banker
